There is only one word for this trip.... COLD!
Unfortunately, my health has had its ups and downs and for this trip it was closer to the bottom end than the top.
Add to that the environment where the outside Temperatures often at times dipped below -40 degrees F. and well it was a
challenging trip for me personally. Also the main goal for this trip (new born polar bear cubs) was not achieved through
circumstances and my health and perhaps bad luck. But there were also a number of firsts for me. A Wolverine close up!
A Wolf Pack close up! The Northern Lights being timid at first but waiting for the final night to put on a crescendo display!
Finally there was a lot of howling going on!
